Micron C200 Series 1TB MicroSDXC UHS-I, the world's first super-large capacity microSD flash card, was released at the World Mobile Congress (MWC) on May 25 by American memory leader Meguiar. This product is a high-performance, extractable storage solution, providing up to 1TB1 storage capacity. Consumers can use this flash card to store 4K movies, photos and games on mobile phones or other electronic devices. It is expected to go on sale in the second quarter.

This flash card is the first microSD flash card in the industry to adopt Meguiar's advanced 96-layer fourth-order storage unit (QLC) 3D NAND technology. Its reading speed is up to 100 MB per second and writing speed is up to 95 MB per second. It meets the standards of UHS-I speed rating 3 (U3) and film speed rating 30 (V30).

Gregory Wong, president of Forward Insights, said that the advent of the technology era of 3D QLC NAND will boost the demand for high-capacity consumer storage devices in the market. It is also pointed out that Meguiar's new flash card marks an important milestone in the market for extractable storage devices, which will help speed up the conversion of mobile devices and game devices into high-capacity storage devices.

In addition to flash memory products, Meguiar's DRAM technology continues to advance. It also announced the establishment of DRAM Excellence Center in Taiwan. Xu Guojin, vice president of the company's Taiwan region, previously disclosed in a media catering that after introducing 1x nano-process in Taiwan last year, it is scheduled to introduce 1y nano-process in the second half of the year, and carry out 1z process trial production, hoping to introduce mass production next year.
