On February 21, Haining City, Zhejiang Province, held a centralized contract signing ceremony for the "Double Enrollment and Double Invitation" project. There were 20 key projects signed with a total investment of 11.625 billion yuan, including 11 foreign-funded projects and 9 domestic-funded projects, covering new materials, intelligent manufacturing, pan-semiconductor equipment and materials and other fields.

The signed semiconductor industry project covers equipment, packaging, materials and other fields, including Silicon Mai Semiconductor Equipment Project, high-end semiconductor chip packaging flip-chip welding project, silicon carbide material research and development and manufacturing project, semiconductor basic materials project, etc., which will help Haining Pan-Semiconductor Industry continue to grow stronger and bigger.

Among them, the Silicon Mai Semiconductor Equipment Project is wholly foreign-owned, with a total investment of 70 million US dollars; the high-end semiconductor chip packaging flip-chip welding project is a Sino-foreign joint venture, with a total investment of 1.2 million US dollars; the SiC material research and development and manufacturing project is wholly foreign-owned, with a total investment of 20 million US dollars. Semiconductor basic materials project is a domestic-funded project with a total investment of 20 million yuan.

It is understood that the pan-semiconductor industry is the focus of Haining's training. On January 9 this year, the third meeting of the Fifteenth People's Congress of Haining pointed out that in 2019, Haining should concentrate on building pan-semiconductor industry base, attracting investment from pan-semiconductor industry and cultivating integrated circuit talents, focusing on high-end professional equipment, basic materials and core components.

Data show that in mid-2018, Haining integrated circuit and related industries have formed an annual output value of more than 4.5 billion yuan, covering equipment, materials and integrated modules, with 37 regulated enterprises and 3 listed enterprises. With the continuous signing and joining of the enterprise camp, Haining Pan-Semiconductor Industry will further develop and grow.
